Airport food ++. Service is stinky, but food was fine. Expect a 30 minute wait. Three of us traveling on business grabbed to go orders for the plane as the meals aren't that good on United (but the ice cream and cookies are good!).

Are they the best dumplings and other food I've ever had?  Not by a long shot.  However, I would definitely go back again for a bite at the recently renovated terminal. Flavors ok.

I hate to do this but I feel the need to prevent others from having the same experience as me.  This review is based on service and not the food.  Simply because I never received my food.

I placed a takeout order for dumplings and brussel sprouts and waited 15 minutes before saying something.  I never want to rush the chefs or servers but my flight was about to start boarding.  I asked the server with a man bun if they received my order, and he said yes he would start on it now.  This is 15 min after I had placed my order and they didn't start working on it yet.  Mind you, the place just opened for lunch and it was NOT busy.  Before I spoke up, I saw this server chatting with another server as if they had nothing to do.  10 more minutes go by, and they finally finished bagging a takeout order that I thought must be mine.  He handed it to me but it was actually someone else's order.  Order mix-up.  I waited 5 more minutes, to then realize my order STILL had not been bagged.  Since I couldn't miss my flight at this point, I told him to cancel my order and he said "ok" with no apology.  There was NO sense of urgency, sympathy, or speed with this server, even though he had multiple takeout customers staring him down.  My order was simple and required minimal time to prep - I saw the fried dumplings sitting there the whole time he was moving at snail speed.  PLEASE - if you have an hour or more to spare and don't mind waiting a long time for your food, then you do you.  Takeout shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to be ready.  Especially at an airport.

    The food was cold.
It tasted like it was frozen and barely warm.
The chicken and shrimp dumplings tasted like ammonia.
Avoid at all costs.  Feel sick and now have to get on a long flight.
    Waiter was nice.

Stopped in to this spot while on a layover in Newark. It was busy and near my gate, plus who says no to dumplings. Sat at the bar. All ordering is done through the iPads at the seat, overall easy process.  Ordered a beer & the soup. Unfortunately they were out of the beer so switch to another local (decent selection for an airport) and the team worked to adjust the price as the new beer was almost $2 cheaper. The soup came out in about 10 minutes, not bad for airport time. Overall, it was just ok. The broth was overly salty, like really salty and the dumplings were all stuck together (obviously from frozen). The flavor would have been great if not as salty.

I would have given this place 2 stars but they were obviously working to improve as the manager was checking in on people (overheard some errors in ordering) and then trying to help anyone with things . I mentioned to saltiness in the soup and saw her immediately go talk to the staff. I think they are working and hope they improve as they have a good menu and concept.

For an airport stop this place wasn't bad. All of the ordering was electronic, no waitress, which was convenient and meant you didn't have to wait. The food was just average but I didn't have high expectations for an airport dumpling place. The salad was really good and the dumplings were fine but nothing special. I was a little disappointed in the Malbec but overall a good experience.
